Miniature Golfing

We went mini-golfing for a date night a few months ago, and PJ thought it would be a great idea to take the kids back sometime. So, last Saturday morning we took advantage of the "early bird" golfing time and took Avery and Alex on their first minature golfing adventure.
Avery got the hang of it pretty well, and was making some shots on her own after awhile. Alex preferred to have help only with the first shot, and then pick up the ball and put it in the hole after that. It was much faster this way.
It was rather hot, so after about 30 minutes the kids were roasting. But it was fun anyway.
Avery said this temple-looking hole was scary, but she wanted her picture in front of it. Weirdo.
I would call this a successful adventure, even with the heat and sweating and chasing kids back onto the green and warning them to not throw their golf balls in the water and keeping track of everyone's clubs.....etc. Typical with two little ones.
